Trisha Gautam

Associate

Trisha Gautam is a litigator representing companies and executives in complex business disputes. She takes a client-focused approach to litigation, combining careful analysis with a close attention to detail to help clients navigate difficult legal issues. Trisha enjoys digging into complicated legal questions and developing practical strategies that allow the firm’s clients to move forward with confidence.

Trisha supports clients across all aspects of litigation including legal research, due diligence, discovery, depositions, case strategy, and trial preparation.

Before joining Smith Kane, Trisha was an associate at a boutique law firm representing victims and survivors of sexual abuse in complex civil actions. In this role, she handled a wide range of discovery issues, involving motion practice, case management, and deposition support. Trisha’s experience also includes serving as a legal extern for the in-house counsel team of a global biopharmaceutical company, where she gained a business risk-oriented perspective that she applies to her work in private practice. She also served as a legal intern with the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Cable.
